Celebrating its 80th Anniversary, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, founded in 1931 to serve lawyers practicing in the Los Angeles region, has long been committed to advocating for justice in the community, as well as assisting its lawyer members to reach and exceed the highest skill levels and ethical standards in the legal profession.
The Association, currently has over 4,600 members practicing in all areas of the law who share a professional commitment to excellence and service. The BHBA is the sixth largest metropolitan bar association in California, and has the largest entertainment law section of any bar association in the nation.
One of the primary missions of the Beverly Hills Bar Association is to provide its members with quality continuing legal education programs which will enhance their ability to serve their clients. Each year, the Association produces more than 175 educational programs in substantive law areas featuring distinguished speakers on fresh topics and issues of interest and concern to Section members.
In addition, the Association produces numerous publications and offers vital networking opportunities so specialists in virtually any legal field can stay current with changes in the law.
